You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
I pinch myself to keep myself alert in case something happens spontaneously. I take a deep breath, and begin. "I've come from my home of Malin. I've left to seek something bigger than what was there in Malin." I clap my hands. "Adventure! That's what I've been needing for real. I've done what I can in Malin, but it's time for me to go out and do sum different. You know what I'm saying? My old home had my father, mother, and a younger sister. They all told me to stay and that there was stuff in Malin and I could stay there forever. I know they're just biased, and I wanted to stay but realistically my life would've been boring as hell. So, now I'm out here just trying to see the world for what it is."
