    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use out of character knowledge to influence in character decisions. For example, if I am oocly told my friend is in Haense, and I then tell someone that they’re in Haense in character, that’s metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you rp unrealistically to increase your character’s power. If I claimed my character was the strongest in the world and rped him as crushing rocks, that would be powergaming, as it unrealistically benefits my character.
