You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Viktoria stares down at the older woman with disgusted eyes, purple hues shimmering with clear distain as she surveyed the meager dwelling she had walked into. Pausing at the old woman's offer she studied the dirtied cushion, well used and stained, clearly not sanitary in the least. Grimacing she held her tongue and patted down the cushion sighing softly before sitting down, lightly concerned at how her bottom would look once she rose. A long bath was due after being in this disgusting hovel.. she thought but she returned her attention to the woman.
"I wouldn't say its much of a story, more so a quest..." Laughing lightly to herself her eyes narrowed, "for revenge." Staring into the woman's eyes, looking down upon her in a demeaning way, "Its far more complicated than one of your mind and ability could comprehend so we can leave it to that." Flicking her nails dismissively she crossed her leg gracefully, the hem of her dress sliding up revealing smooth toned skin. She quickly added, "Though I could do with some assistance establishing a place to reside upon this land while I complete my task and return home." Viktoria clicked her teeth in thought.
Viktoria burned inside with even the mention of her tasks ahead of her, she was out for blood. Her mind raged internally as memories flooded back and wrapped her mind in chaos, she could feel it building up in her limbs, raising the short hairs upon her arms as she did. The shiver that ran throughout her whole body was noticeable, whether it was the anxiety of her own thoughts or the excitement of what was to come was even unknown to her.
