    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the use of OOC knowledge ICly, such as using information your character couldn't have possibly known in the RP, because you know out of character for it to be true.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the use of unfair, unjustified, unrealistic or otherwise overpowered use of actions in the RP. Particularly relating to another player this could include, essentially, RPing in a way that forces the other player to react as dictated by you. This includes such things as having your character achieve feats that are, realistically, improbable to outright impossible for them to achieve. Or in cases where, for instance, your character has been injured, simply ignoring the injury for convenience.

Olivje stopped as the gentleman approached, perking up in surprise from how friendly the stranger was. He smiled politely, his hands moving to grip around the strap of his leather satchel which hung over his shoulder whilst the man spoke.

"Oh- Goodness, no, nothing like that" he answered, a hand releasing the strap to briefly wave as he spoke "I'm just going to the Victory Pub, I have to speak to a friend of mine. It's... Gosh, it's been quite a while. It's strange how much I miss Providence, sometimes.."
