    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta gaming is when a drunken village idiot stumbles his way into the library then carefully takes each individual book off its shelf because the player knows their is a secret door somewhere here.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Forcing an event by saying something like "I cut off the dragon's wings" when, no, you can't do that.

I would tell him "None of that kind of business, I'm just looking for a place to set up shop! Would you happen to know of any good places for sale? Or any cross roads many walk by?". I would then, if he told me a nice place to set up shop, proceed to head over to the location to check it out. Otherwise I would continue onwards.

  • Your Character Biography is a bit short. Please include at least 6 sentences. If you don’t know what to add, I recommend thinking more about your character’s backstory. Where are they from, what were their parents like, why are they how they are…?
  • Your Character Biography mentions "undead magics". I would remove this from your biograph completely. 
  • Your Physical Description is a bit lacking; I recommend adding some more detail! If you’re lost on what to add, height, eye colour, hair colour, hair length, etc. are all good.

  • Your Personality Traits/Quirks need to include at least one significant negative trait. This can be anything that is a fault in their personality. 

  • Your Personality Traits/Quirks are a bit lacking. If you’re lost on what more to say, think of their fears, how they act around new people, etc.

  • Your Character's Aspirations Response is too short and must be at least two full sentences long. It should also tie into your Character Biography.

  • Make sure your Character's Aspirations Response  ties into your Character Biography!
