You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Elspeth van Damme is an opinionated and headstrong Highlander in search of home.
All she's ever dreamed of is a roof and a comfortable, cozy bed to call her own. Perhaps a cat and a friend or two could be accuired on her way to the peaceful bliss in which she, and no one else, has crafted.
Elspeth comes from a family of hardworking people, but was always given the easiest path. Now on her own, she will work with sweat and blood to build the calm life she deserves in Norland. Her greatest fear is reaching her goal and being unhappy... and water. My good sis does not swim.
Elspeth is tall, at 5'9, and weighs 207 pounds. She owns two dresses. (slim mc frame)
