    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information acquired out-of-character unfairly for your character in-game. i.e a friend messages you on discord about free items being given out in the town over and you hop on to claim the benefits
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when your character acts god-like, giving you an unfair advantage. It is also forcing emotes unfairly onto other characters i.e saying you have severed a character's limb, killing them instantly

Gareth looks at the gentlemen before him, instinctively grabbing the hilt of his knife hidden in his right pocket.
