    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: ive played ttrpgs for almost 8 years so i am very accustomed to thinking only in terms that a person would reasonably would be able to accomplish as well respect that other people have certain views for what they'd like for their character. notably with any action that my character would wish to perform that involves anything that could be out of their control such as trying to persuade a fellow player into buying something i would make sure that what i am saying is a suggestion to the type of action id like to perform without the results of said action being determined solely becuase i said so.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: metagaming disrupts the flow of fair roleplay especially when it is used to exploit the feelings and situation in any given roleplay scenario. if a friend of mine were to let me know of how their character is feeling in that moment ooc but my character would still be oblivious to those emotions i cannot act on any information that ooc players have given me regardless if it helps or hinders my character, i must play them how they were meant to be and not someone who knows things they shouldn't

Maeve, the person we know was born after a hard series of psychosis dissociative episodes from a young dark elf after having their mind alter and poked around with after losing a life partner. Maeve dove head first into a deep rabbit hole of vice, impulse, and carnal influence as they struggle to maintain positive attention from anyone that will spare it. The parents of the original person that Maeve once was are no longer around as they were older elves and thus passed away as Maeve grew up and reached adulthood. Maeve is a traveler that would be travelling from city to city in search of those aforementioned vices and attention from anyone as Maeve is trying to desperately to prove to just about anyone that they should include them in their life even if it might make it worse. Maeve is best described as a candle that rises in flame and would much rather burn up than fade away. Maeve would most likely start their rp adventure Nor'Asath trying to setup a small tavern of sorts as a long term goal of theirs to gather people from all over to entertain.

 

Maeve awakens for the first time as themself seemingly reborn from whoever they were before hand. "oh dearest me, ive seemed to have gotten myself into quite some scenario haven't i" looking around stumbling to their feet off the side of the city street of Nor'asath. "oh no another city for me to get lost in" they gaze up and down the streets looking for anyone that could help a poor soul until they meet the gaze of a gentle stranger. "excuse me darling may i ask where i am and by chance where i could find some place to clean myself up a bit, ive seemed to have misplaced.. well.. my dignity" awaiting an answer before they realize they were not listened to begins a half slouched stride to what could only be some sort of inn or public recreational building. muttering to themself under breath "i cant believe they just ignored.. ME of all people, i guess common decency is beyond them these days..." Maeve attempts to push the door open as something foul assaults their nose "oh dear maybe it was me... i need a bath"
