You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Saeko fidgeted for a moment trying to process everything the older lady had just said. She lowered her head and sat on the cushion she was gestured to lower herself onto. "My story...?" She wondered, tapping one of her stained fingers on her leg. "I don't think I have much of an interesting one, let alone worth telling." She spoke, looking a tad askance. "Even if I had one that was of interest that won't stop you by judging a book by its cover." She softly moved a part of her hair out of her face, her fingers brushing against the blindfold she was wearing. The blindfold was made of a mesh so she could still see through it, it was merely a aesthetic she enjoyed. Saeko sighed and leaned back, tilting her face towards the ceiling. "I wish I could remember most of it to tell you, truth be told I hardly even know my story." She breathed, falling a little despondent. "I don't think I come from here, the last thing I remember was telling myself I need to change my life and leave what was behind me behind." She sat up and looked at the ma'am. "..What did you mean when you said you were expecting me?" Saeko asked in a fleeting attempt to change the conversation, her head ached from trying to think of a story she could tell the older woman.
