You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until I break the silence with a sigh.
"Well Old crone of this village, I thank you for the hospitality I am Nym" as I take a seat on the gestured cushion.
"I am from some small settlement with no name, at least such a name has been long lost in my mind, from far away. This town I was raised in was sacked and raided many moons ago so I've spent my life trying to find or found a new place to call home to teach and live by the lessons and ways of living from this village, at least the parts I remember." I sit for a moment taking in the damp smells of the swamp town and I can feel the eyes of the hag on me.
With a sigh I take my leave to exit the hut "I won't take more of your time dear crone" as I go forward into the world.
(this will be my first RP server I hope I did this all right and hope my characters backstory isn't too much, too little or too clichéd and ty for reading all that as well)
