    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: using things you as the player would see that your character wouldn't see to give your character an advantage or more knowledge.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Forcing your character to do things that could happen but are not assured, like saying your character steals this instead of attempting to.

Soot looks at the man a bit then walks past him, the man walks with soot and repeats his question, now annoyed soot pushes the man aside saying "the reason im here is none of your concern, go bother someone else" and soot walks away to find somewhere to sleep until night
