What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?”
“Please leave me alone, I have no need for you to exist near me” I say in an annoyed voice
“The journey on the boat was a long one. Please, I don't want to deal with you right now.”
“Well perhaps I could be your guide, or maybe get you a room at an Inn? Or even if you want, I can get you the woman of your dreams.” the gentleman said in an enthusiastic voice.
“I have no need for your services. I have the resources to find everything myself. And as for the woman of my dreams, I've found her already.” I replied slowly, starting to get more angry, as I pulled away from him.
“Comon pal, I'm your friend. I can show you around.” he put his hand on my shoulder and held it there, tightening his grip.
I gave him an annoyed smirk, “You really should leave me alone. I have no use for a ‘Friend’.” I said as I swiftly pulled away from him, moving further down the dock.
He backed off slightly before walking after me. "Then how about you come with me anyway.” he said before drawing a small knife.
I fumbled around looking for it, then I found it. I revealed a hidden throwing knife and threw it at him, I was aiming for his shoulder but instead missed and the knife ended up stabbed into the wood wall behind him. It got the message through
He looked at me with a combination of horror, rage, and surprise. Backing away slowly, before running down the docks into the city. Calling out a madman had tried to stab him.
“I told you you should’ve left me alone.” I said under my breath
