You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Well... alright. I suppose I will tell you my story." He chair and sits down with a thud."It began something like this: On the eve of my eighteenth birthday, I was sleeping at my family's humble logging camp when I suddenly heard a commotion. I assumed it was nothing and was going to fall back to sleep when I heard my mother scream. I grabbed an ornate axe form the wall and made my way to my parent's room cautiously. When I opened the door I was struck with fear; in front of me was a werebear feasting on the remains of my mother and father. I charged at it, swinging my axe at the beast. Before I could get to it though, it struck at me, giving me this giant scar on my chest. It then bit my arm and ran at me. So I ran away as fast as I could. I made it to the neighboring town and when I described what happened to anyone in the village, they laughed and called me a fool. so I lived in the streets for a couple of years getting by on what I could. It was a poor life, but life nonetheless. But then it happened. One night on the full moon, I transformed. My hair became fur, my nails became claws, my teeth became fangs. I became... a werebear. I had no control, I just had to watch as my body went around town slaughtering the citizens. When dawn came I transformed back and was disgusted with what I had done. I fled to another city and it all happened over again: I told people my story, was called a fool, lived on the streets, and on the next full moon I transformed again, killing everyone. I had to find a way to stop this. I escaped to the forest where I was planning to hide until I found a way to control this transformation. While in this forest, I bumped into an order of druids who taught me to control this curse. They were like a family to me and for that I was grateful. One day, an archdruid visited this little druidic circle in the woods and discovered than had been helping train a werebear. He immediately decreed that I be banished, never to return to this druidic circle. And I have been wandering since. Now I have stumbled upon this town. Now if you don't mind, I am going to go to the local tavern and have a drink. And I appreciate you listening to me story."
