    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using knowledge outside the game, in the game. Say I know already who committed a crime from outside information, but because my character doesn't know I can't use the information.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is forcing something to happen to someone else's character without giving them an option. Example: Lilly takes a butcher knife and slices off Ben's fingers.
    Ben doesn't have a say in what happened to his character's hand in this example, instead, it should be Lilly frantically tries to swing a butcher knife at ben, this gives ben an option to choose what happens.
