    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: From what I know, metagaming refers to the usage of external knowledge. So basically, in the aspect of like, DnD, the DM tells the player of a scene in which the character is not in, but the player uses that scene to their advantage even though their character was not present.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: So, the way I see powergaming is kind of like min-maxing; minus the min. You boost your character to unrealistic heights, ignoring the flaws and negative effects of things in an effort to grant yourself the ability to never fail.
