You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Confused of why he was expected, he started to tell his story to the old hag.
"I've recently left my small Wood Elf Settlement in search of a future of my own. In my small settlement which i used to call home, it is quite normal for a young adult to seek out his own future, taking up to 10 years to find what they are searching for. Many return to find their true destiny to belong in the village, which i may one day do as well. I just crossed the rugged hills in the far distance towards the south, and needed a rest. I first thought to myself that this must be an abandoned place, yet i saw people in several tents and old run down shacks."
Tarathiel told the old hag that he decided to ask around for the nearest major settlement, while exploring the run down settlement. A woman told him to look for the tents, were he would meet someone. He also told her that the woman seemed mysterious, for which the old hag laughed and told him not to worry
"When i was walking over here, a little girl asked me if i wanted an apple. She said that she had found many apples at the big tree behind some of the shacks, and so i accepted one."
He also told her that about 100 meters from the tents, a young boy, probably 9 or 10 years old, asked him who he was. Tarathiel told the young boy that he simply was a Wood Elf making his way to a tent, but when the young boy asked Tarathiel why he was here, it took him some time to answer the young boy.
He then thoughtfully told the young boy; "I suppose i am trying to find myself a place to live, and find out where i belong in this big world." He just looked at Tarathiel, and then preceded to walk away, whispering to himself as he went. He then walked to a middle-aged man who proceeded to tell him that the old hag was in the tent behind him.
"I then walked in to this tent, of which you were occupying."
"As a young Wood Elf, i do not know where i will belong, but i one day hope to settle with my own kin, though i would love to create many good relations with both Men and Dwarfs. However, you just told me that i'm expected here, so maybe this is my destiny... Is there something you know, which i do not?"
