    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: In my personal experience I would say its gaining knowledge in a unbalanced way be it knowing something is happening when you shouldn't or having friends or someone else giving you info you just shouldn't have be it knowing were someone or something is you didn't have knowledge of or telling you stuff out of game you shouldn't know.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: I would say a obvious example of power gaming would be if you made your character have unrealistic abilities for example if your character was say 30 and had lived most of his life climbing it would make sense he could maybe with help scale a building however if your character was say a 80 year old human and did it alone with no help it would be in my opinion power gaming because no one in their 80's could scale a building alone.

while Sathariel freezes in shock with a surprised face since this well dressed gentlemen singled him out of all the people to leave the boat he quickly deduces that it is because he was the only high elf to leave the ship and quickly composes himself.
