You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
There's a gruff snort from the orc as he examines the surroundings before him. It's nothing to increasingly note, although it does bring back memories of his home tribe. The rotted wood, mixed with the soggy moss growing upon it. It's familiar. In an almost comforting way. Before the orc can even have a moment to reminisce on his past childhood his attention is immediately snapped back by the old hag. Annoyingly so. The deep grumble of the greenish behemoth's voice rings through the swampy air as if its his first time vocalizing in a long while.
"Grmmppf...Puny woman. Wanting to know of my life, Gmmahahah...! You have not yet earned such a story, but you are the first of many in a while to ask. So just this once, you get the grace of learning about Gomoku."
The crimson red eyes befall the hag wearily. It's noticeably clear that the orc isn't fully trusting of this lady. There's something off about her. Nothing he can put a finger on though.
"I come seeking strength. I come to yearn for power. My tribe.." *Another guttural growl of distain involuntarily beseeches the Orcs throat before he squints to the floor. "Cowards. The lot of them. Telling me what to do, what I can become. I...have come...to Prove them wrong. They think Gomoku is filled with weakness. Bah..! Incompetence. They will pay for how they treated me."
His eyes drift for the slightest momment, before finally returning to the hag.
"They will come to know the name Gomoku.."
With that little escapade he once again stands arising to his full height. Visibly he seems done with the conversation, and will continue on unless the elderly woman attempts to stop him.*
”Grah…enough talk. The time for crushing has come. Gomoku will show those who deny his strength true power. Now move aside, lady.”
He’d push past at any rate ready to take on whatever was before him with great courage, and a head held high.
