    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information that your character doesn't have to dictate his actions. While not egregious in certain circles (say a friendly D&D session) it can completely destroy large scale roleplaying servers.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is overexerting the roleplaying to effect other players and the world in unreasonable ways. This should be avoided at all costs.
