You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Arlen stops to come up with an answer hoping to mask his mysterious aura "im just stopping by along the way my grandmother always told me this city was beautiful" Arlen says in a sarcastic tone as he looks around and takes in the scenery "I wish she was here to see how far this place has come it is 10x better than she described. But back to the topic of discussion, I am an author named Arlen Aristo travelling the world to find a story." Arlen takes out an old tatered and weathered notebook. "pictures are worth a thousand words but the best picture is seen with ones mind.” Arlen pauses “do you have a story to tell ?” ”how will they remember you” “how will they know what you’ve accomplished” “did you leave anything behind” Arlen stops bombarding her with questions. “Here in this notebook you will find stories of legends, kings, family and myself. But my journey has yet to finish.”
”At least tell me where you are from or something about your parents and stop acting so mysterious you’re safe here” the woman says.
Arlens takes off his coat and begins talking “I was born in Talar'nor my mother was a politician and my father is a decorated war hero but his time in battle has crumbled his mental. So majority of the time it was just my mother and I. Growing up others saw me as distant and too sophisticated so i barely had friends. My family wasn't the richest but we did have more than most, well for a certain time until my mother was accused of treason and we got everything taken from us. Now im on a journey to clear my mothers name and hopefully capture the beauty of life in Aevos in my own words making a book filled with stories and pictures of the kingdom."
