    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: It's when your character uses info that you know ooc that your character wouldn't know. "Leifr doesn't go down the creepy cave because he knows its haunted due to a discussion on discord."
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: It's being unfairly overpowered. For Example: "Leifr's sword shoots lighting at all the foes in the room, killing them all instantly"

Read the scenario below this box and type out inside of this box how your character might respond. Your response must be at least four sentences long and include at least one action and at least one piece of dialogue surrounded by quotes.

 

I wouldn’t trust this stranger, but wouldn’t be rude. I would reply with something like, “Just here for business,” before questioning him in return, (”what’s it to ya?” / “why?” / “what about you?”). If he avoided my questions, I would simply walk past him, saying something like, “Excuse me but I must be on my way.” I’d definitely try to not look away from him until I walked away, considering it’s pretty dangerous to look away from a stranger who approaches you.
