    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: To me, metagaming would be the act of using information unknown to your character. in other words it would be the act of finding information outside the game or through the chat that your character wouldn't be able to know.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming in my eyes is the act of playing without adhering to the rules, it's to use unfair or "cheat" tactics and abilities that you shouldn't be using. in other words, it is the act of giving your character an unreasonable boost that would be impossible for your character to attain at that time or level. an example of this as stated in the wiki is acting "godly" which is the act of pretty much making your character a god and ignoring any flaws that he may have.

He wouldn't try to get involved with the man due to his lack of trust however if the man persisted he would tell the man that he has come for adventure and nothing else. if he trusted this man on the other hand he would probably tell the man that he came for adventure to view to interesting aspects of the town and to learn of it's history.
