    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: I like to set preestablished weaknesses for my character. One or two general weaknesses, and a couple niche ones. If my character is younger and less experienced than someone they're fighting them obvs they're going to be taking wounds faster and surviving will be more based on luck.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming information can cause major problems, like knowing someone is secretly a vampire oocly, and spreading it around icly that you suspect them of being one.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Respectfully, madame, I shall remain standing. I am not so much interested in revealing my life story as I am listening to yours." He purses his lips.

 

"If you must know however, I am of the Silveira Clan. I am searching for my granddaughter. She is something of a handful you see- but all the blood relation I have in this world."

 

"Now.. tell me yours."

 

(I will edit the skin to fit his family and race! Don't worry about that, I've read the lore for High Elves and have help getting adjusted to the server)
