As Vedfolnir steps off the boat, he nearly falls over. Quickly catching himself with a sharp yelp, he pushed his oversized glasses up the bridge of his nose and looked out in wonder. The fortifications of the city amazed him, having never seen such a place before. The young elf springs forth, thud of his foot against the docks mixed in the cacophony of other people mulling about. Ved nearly runs into the well-dressed man, swallowing another sound as he straightened himself to look to him. "Ehm- Hi! Hello." He would say after his greeting, rubbing the back of his neck. "What brings me..? Well, first of all sir I /must/ say I simply love the fortifications. It looks very sturdy, and I know I would feel safe in there. I'm a traveler, I came to learn!" There was a heavy pause as he chuckled self-deprecatingly. "And ehheh, adventure too. With someone, though. I'm not a good fight myself."
