Oomanagarcha

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

((How do you respond?))

Arin takes a deep breath, looking around the dimly lit tent before meeting the old hag's gaze. "My name is Arin, I consider myself a skilled archer and warrior. I was born into a noble elven family, but i've never quite felt like I fit in with the traditional gender roles and expectations of our society.
As I grew older, I began to reject the binary gender system altogether and embraced my non-binary identity. Despite the initial resistance from my family and peers, my exceptional skills as an archer and warrior earned me respect and admiration from those around me.
I quickly became a trusted member of the elven army, and my bravery and quick thinking on the battlefield has earned me many victories. My ultimate goal is to create a more inclusive and accepting society for all elves, regardless of gender identity or expression. 
I believe that everyone should be able to be their true selves, and i am willing to fight for that right. however.. that is not why I am here...
I am searching for something," they say, their voice low and steady. "Something that was taken from me years ago."

( other person example ) The old hag nods sagely, her eyes glinting with understanding. "I see. And what is it that you seek?"

Arin hesitates for a moment, then takes a small object out of their pocket and places it on the table between them. "This," they say, their voice barely above a whisper. "It's a family heirloom. It was stolen from me by a group of bandits, and I've been searching for it ever since."

( other person example )The old hag studies the object for a moment before meeting Arin's gaze once again. "I can help you," she says, her voice full of confidence. "But it won't be easy. You'll need to be prepared for what lies ahead."

*Arin nods*
