You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
guts: arrived at the tent I sat down "i managed to get unscathed to you witch, it was a long way, but finally i can rest. my story?" guts gets comfortable "well my story begins in a crystalline lake, in a beautiful sunny day, until... while i was resting at the shore of this lake, i saw a strange, child? I don't know what it was exactly, but it was a "thing" covered in bandages, holding a red pendant in its hand. and then…all of a sudden…everything stopped, for a single instant, before I heard a very loud scream coming from that cursed pendant." guts: starts to tremble while telling the story "and then... everything went black everything went out, dark elf came out of the ground, and a gigantic hand out of the ground, holding that cursed child over, at one point, all the people who were there, they began to die one after the other, I was scared, I thought my time had come, but then a black warrior appeared out of nowhere, with an abnormal sword in his hand, who I began to cut monsters like a madman, screaming at me, "hey you go to the swamp, there you will find an old witch, who maybe will be able to stop that child." he said. I responde: what? what will it become?. but I didn't have time to finish the sentence, because he ran away, so I didn't waste that opportunity. and I ran towards this swamp like a madman, and that's how I got here" guts: leaves, the tent going in search of orcs to defeat the child

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Trying to make my every action coherent with the character I've chosen to play. If it happens to perform actions unusual for my race's way of thinking, it must be justifiable. What I do must also be consistent with the context of the game, worldbuilding, its culture and lore
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts fair roleplay because it's creates an unfun environment and gives undeserved advantages to players around you while destroying the realism in the world and roleplay. Knowing the difference between what should be out-of-character and what should be in universe is important.
