You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"I came here to rest but, what you ask, well.. that is something that’ll be a time to talk about. I hail from the Yong Ping land, raised in a small village. My father wasn’t in the picture, only my Mother and Sister.. There, it held many poor folk that hadn’t much compared to the royalty or any of the sort who housed in the nicer parts of the town nearby. I wanted to be like the Samurai who protected the village from harm and served with Honor. So that is what I did, after training for a while by myself as a child.” Yasuke said as he tapped the hilt at his hip side.
Though as I grew into my shared status, so did my love for.. someone. She showed me things that people would’ve been fond to see, viewpoints that soon clouted my duties at times. But unfortunately, treachery and greed fed the men I worked beside and soon they formed a coup de’tat and attempted to take over. In doing so, they began to mercilessly slaughter villagers. Tossing away their honor completely and only being power hungry.. My love and family suffered behind the many others, and I was.. alone.
My own anger and vengeful will led me to kill them after, but it was already too late. The Village sought me to be exiled afterward, as they too saw me as dishonorable in my methods of revenge.. and so I followed. Leaving the lands and wandering alone, I made a name for myself.. the Wandering Ronin. I now do jobs and such for a price or, if you’re lucky, out of the slight kindness of my heart. I wouldn’t bet on it though.” He sighed, looking to the fellow as he gulped his wood carved gourd of water.. “What about you?”
