T’sora adjusted her pack that was slung across her shoulder. The trip had been a rough one, and not a journey she was eager to partake on anytime soon. As she walked along the docks, her gaze was, naturally, drawn towards the sprawling marketplace, humming and buzzing with activity. A bit of nervousness crept at the edges of T’sora’s throat, forcing her to swallow thickly. The sun glittered behind a thin layer of clouds, and T’sora briefly allowed herself to bask in the warmth.
T’sora blinked a few times as she was suddenly approached by a finely dressed man. He spoke quickly, his accent foreign to T’sora, and further inspection noted beads of sweat lining his forehead, as well as his nose. T’sora once again shifted the brown pack on her shoulder, and suddenly felt a heaviness settle in her stomach as she stood at the precipice of this strange, new world. Clearing her throat, T’sora spoke, voice rough with unuse.
“Work,” She muttered; then, with more confidence, “I am looking for work.”
