    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using knowledge outside of what your character knows. This can include things such as your character magically knowing that your friend is getting their butt kicked half the map away from you and going to help. Metagaming can also be if your character randomly does something that they normally wouldn't be able to do such as jumping high enough to clear a gate wall.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power gaming is to force an action upon another player. This can include things such as being in a fight and saying you swipe at another player's eyes blinding them. Instead of giving the choice of what happens to the player by saying something like I swipe at their eyes in an attempt to blind them you force their hand by saying that you blind them.
