    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when the role-player has their character have an unfair advantage over everyone else. Like knowing absolutely everything.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power-gaming to me is when a person gives their character an unfair amount of strength so that they instantly overpower everyone in battle.

The moment I had stepped off of the boat my face immediately began to light up with awe and just a hint of nervousness. 

 

“So this is what life was like outside of my quiet little farm.” I thought as I quickly made my way into the market. A man soon approached me with a charming smile 

 

“Welcome! What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?” 

 

I was completely caught off guard. “Uh to be honest..” I started off. “I haven’t really gotten that far. I was wondering in town when this very kind traveler said he would take me with him! Of course I had to take the offer this could be one of the greatest friendships in my life!” I then looked around trying to find him but he was nowhere to be seen. The gentleman raised an eyebrow at me so I continued.

 

“Well that’s alright..” I laughed sheepishly. “Maybe my purpose here is to find some true friends!”
