Jakul can tell by the cloths on the man's body that he is not of his own race. The shorter man is human, that's for certain, but his stature and skin tone must be that of a heartlander. This eases his mind and allows him to talk. "Thank you kind sir, the boat has put a crick in my neck, but your presence has sure massaged it." He pauses briefly to evaluate the man's smile. "Do you know of any taverns where I can find Norlands?" The man chuckles and his shoulders shrug with the snort of his breath. "Highlanders and drinking? You could close your eyes and throw a stone and I promise it'll land on the beard or the barrel of a highlander." Though his response is sarcastic, it tells me two things. One, I won't have to search long to find one of my people. And two, they may just be drunk enough to join my crusade or perish at its hand. With my mind set on finding a bar, I bid the man farewell, "Well I'll throw my stone in this direction and hope to find one, or at least a pint to loosen my eyes." He chuckles once again, appreciating my retort.
