With a sound of agitation Jorin stepped towards the Bazaar, hand raised to shelter his eyes from the blinding rays of the sun. Sweat trickled down his brow and the soft wool and leather he wore made the heat near unbearable. How anyone could live in such a hellish place was beyond him, but here they were.. A testament to the arrogance of mankind by defying the scorching rays of the sun and baking themselves half to death each day. His brow twitched and his body tensed as the man called out to him and twin orbs of wintergreen turned towards them. A moments consideration, then two, and he fully turns towards the person and spoke. "Lovely, Aye. A traveler passing through, with a hope for a few coins for the road and supplies," He replied, his voice thick and rolling like distant thunder. "No place have I for elevation of status, for no place do I call home. If I have my way I shall be here and gone within two moons." He lowers his hand from sheltering his eyes and squints as he slowly adjusts to the light. "I might ask, stranger, for your name and what you wish of me. For rare is the simple pleasure of conversation offered to a stranger with such warmth."
Following a brief conversation with the man, Jorin turned down a side street with a small hand drawn map in hand. He frowned at it, glancing to the signs above the doors and the pictures painted upon each. Coin.. Apparently this city had a problem with rats in some of the shops and others were looking to have it fixed for coin. He smiled to himself, stopping before a sign with a basket and bread painted upon it. Well, at least it was work. And if he'd learned anything from when he was young.. It as how to hunt rats. Who knew that would become a marketable skill. Not him.

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is taking knowledge gleamed OOCly and treating it as knowledge gained In Character. If you OOCly know someone is a vampire and instantly accuse them for it on a character that's never interacted with them and has NO way of knowing, that's metagaming. It's similiar to the concept of powergaming but is more based upon information, taking for granted that your character knows things they should not and utilizing it when ignorance should be played on the topic.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the art of trying to force someones character to act in a manner of your choosing without the consent or ability of the other person to choose what their character does. A common example is in combat, where someone will emote "Lord Blah slashes you across your chest and you fall to the ground bleeding", this is powergaming because it was not an -attempt- made to harm the other character and does not allow them to reply in a manner they see fit. In short: Don't be a jerk and try to play god by dictating other actions and reponses.
