You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

The young man seated themself on the rather raggedy cushion. A sigh escaped, as his gaze flickered forward to the woman. "..Well. My family has traveled here rather recently, madam. And my Father has instructed me to pursue my academic goals of becoming an alchemist.. I started my pursuit for learning Alchemy when I was a young lad. My family didn't have much money when I was first born, but I was still able to pursue my dreams of becoming an Alchemist, by doing chores for the other family down the hill-side. I was paid the bare minimum by that very family to find a tutor, and now that my family has traveled here, I'm determined to continue my academic adventures."
