You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
 

"I seek guidance," you reply, "I'm haunted by dreams of a sea of fire and harrowing screams. But most of all, I yearn to find my lost brother. Years of tracking has led me to this town. Have you seen him?"

The hag's eyes soften with compassion, "Your dreams and your brother are intertwined," she reveals. "Long ago, your brother came here in search of a powerful artifact. In my visions I saw he found it, but its power was beyond what he could control. I cannot tell what has become of your brother, but I know the artifact can set fire to the seas which would then spread across the land."

Confused, you ask, "Does that mean he is alive? Where can I find him?"

The hag notes again, "I know nothing of your brother beyond that he fell to the artifact. Head to the cabin with the red markings and enter with your eyes covered. Simply ask about the artifact and listen to their instructions. Remember, your dreams are the real future. You must stop them from happening and save us all, more than just your brother."

Relieved to have found a lead to find your brother, yet scared of the hags warning, you head to the cabin marked in red. While you wonder what the hag meant when she said he fell to the artifact, you know your brother would never be blinded by power...
