You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Triss was born into a world of magic and wonder as a highland elf. Her early years were filled with joy and happiness until tragedy struck when her mother passed away. In his grief, Triss’s father found solace in the arms of another woman from a different race and breed. Their love was forbidden and when it was discovered, he was executed for his crime.Triss was left orphaned but she was soon taken in by another family from her race. This family welcomed her with open arms and raised her as their own. They taught her the ways of their people and she learned the arts.Triss had always been fascinated by magic and longed to learn its secrets. She hoped that one day she would find a teacher who could guide her on her journey to mastering it

As she approaches the old hag, she can feel the weight of the moment settling upon her. "I have come seeking answers," she says in a determined voice, meeting the old hag's piercing gaze. "Answers to a great mystery that has been troubling me for some time now. I believe you may have the knowledge I seek." She takes a seat on the cushion and waits for the old hag's response, her nerves tingling with anticipation.
