    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you take something you know that your charcter is not supposed to know and project what you know onto your charcter.Example something happens in a faraway town your charcter does not know of this but you do so then you character knows something they are not supposed too
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: When you break out of the abilites or power level of the charcter you are roleplaying example i cannot single handedly take on 50000 tarrasques without flinching.

Scotty walks up to the man with sorrowful melancholy eyes and says  "I hope to regain my familys status and wealth and to get vengence on my many brothers that fell many many years ago". As he walks passed stone faced to the nearby shoppe to gather supplies.
