    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the act of using information unknown to the player's character to influence their actions as if they did know. Examples: making large, unnatural leaps in thought to come to a conclusion; showing up to an event that the character should have no business or reason to be participating in.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming, also known as godmodding, is when a player has their character perform an action that is far beyond their natural skill. It is also when a player makes a decision/performs an action for another player's character without their permission.

Distracted by the sights and sounds of a new destination, Pax did not notice the gentleman's approach until he was spoken to.
