    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the shared information across your in-game character and you in real life. In other words you can't user your in real life knowledge to help your in-game character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the use of unrealistic things within the roleplay world. This includes e.g:
    If I’m playing a very brave dwarf warrior I can’t just run away from an enemy without a fight.

Read the scenario below this box and type out inside of this box how your character might respond. You must show an understanding of quoted dialogue and exposition throughout the scenario.

 

Thorintos : *looks aggressively towards the person and gets a step or two closer* “Good day, are you by any chance an army commander?”

Sir: *The man looks frightened*  wherafter he says “N n no, why?”

Thorintos : “Well than it’s none of your business why I’m here!” *looks thoughtfully towards the man* "Hmm maybe it is. Do you by any chance know any army commanders here?"

Sir: "No, but I do know a place where they meet and come together some times"

Thorintos: "Can you tell me where that is or lead me the way?"

Sir: "Yes i can, It's right this way follow me."

*I start following the man through town*
