    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: A player using real world knowledge in a roleplay scenario. similar to dramatic irony I suppose. As an example I would say if your character didn't know the name or location of a certain place, but they player did and intentionally steered their character to "discover" said place.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: A player using an unfair action or, doing something that doesn't fit the situation or character. for example giving a character unfair power boosts, or godlike abilities, or even giving their character a power boost or unfair advantage without any sort of character development/training

Morglutch turns to the well dressed man with a violent glint in his eye, as if deciding whether to respond or pound his head in. after a pause he responds: "wealth? adventure? I came here to claim both and put the world straight! I'm gonna challenge every smug moneygobbler and take all they have!".

 

Morglutch pushes past the gentleman and off toward the market, mumbling something about meat and how the cooking fires are too large for his liking

 

as he shoves past the crowds of people, he glares and growls at each and every one, as if daring them to stand up to him.
