    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is a mistake that should not be made during roleplay. The player controlling a character passes over information to the character they are playing (unconsciously). The character should only be informed by other characters. Player to character information passing is metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is also a mistake that can be made during roleplay. The player uses too much of their ''roleplay power'', to make situations or the character unrealistic. It makes the game unfair. You must try to keep the options open for the other people. For example, creating a character with no weaknesses.
