You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Lunaluz would be taken a back from the putrid smell making her want to gag, and from the sudden hag wanting to know about her, however she is confused by the sudden knowledge of her seemingly recognizing her. The sudden sight makes her seems to make her grow fearful, but before long, after thinking for a moment, she doesn't really have anywhere to go. So she complies to have a seat and tell her story out of compliance to not start trouble. She takes a deep breath to calm down as she feels the goosebumps crawling up her arms.
"W-Well, it started with my family and how I-"
She chokes up from a moment as it did seem like a touchy subject.
"I had been with my family wanting to go and get some goods in the market square and before I had left I saw someone in deep need and before long I had offered them some food to help that I had bought them get buy a little bit farther. This was my gravest mistake, as soon after a few days I saw things that had been moving around in the darkness outside our home that night, not thinking much of it at first as I thought it was just a large animal in the woods. But it seems the man I helped was apart of a horrible group of thugs and bandits as they saw me as an easy target and had followed me back home and took the life of my mother and father, when we were attacked I couldn't do anything.. I just stood there in fear as I saw a group of people attack them holding my mother at the edge of the blade, things continued to go south and before long.. I was told to run and I didn't see anything to do as I'm not really strong so I just ran
away. Soon after that I saw smoke plume up in the sky where my home used to be."
Tears could visibly be shown streaming down her face as she seemed racked with guilt.
"I have lived with the shame that I was the reason my family and home and parent's are gone.."
She said as her voice had gotten quite sad at her saying her story but regardless she tries to be as polite as she can with the old Lady.
