“Hello, my dear sir. Your city is certainly lovely. I don’t think I have ever seen anything like it before.” I give a small smile to the man. “As for your question, I don’t seek any of those things. My sole goal in your beautiful city is to find that which ails it and right it as to better the world.”
The man might respond: “seems to me as if you seek wealth, position, and adventure all at once. My dear fellow, might it be better to choose your goal with more precision? You seem to be setting your sights a little too high.” The man let loose a booming laugh.
I wait until he is finished laughing before I answer, “I don’t presume to know the ways of your city, but where I come from those that set their sights too high are often rewarded more so then those with little ambition. I pause as I give the man a sly smile. my goals seem simple enough to me and I would consider any help a great asset. Indeed, those that help me often find that I am a very useful friend to have. What are your ambitions... my friend?”
