    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming would be breaking character in order to gain something in game. For example using discord or another messaging system to talk to people about raids going on when those people are on the other side of the map. This is unfair because in game there is no real way to communicate from that far of a distance.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming would be allowing your character to be too strong to the point where is just doesn't make sense. For example if you are supposed to be injured and hungry yet when a group of healthy strong knights go to fight you, you stand up and beat them all. That would be powergaming considering in a real life scenario your character wouldn't be able to muster the strength to beat the knights.
