    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming can be described as the action of doing something out of character. If a village is being raided and doesn't have enough defenders, you cannot just DM people to get on, help must be found within game, you should not go out of character to find reinforcements.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: It is the performance of actions which are too OP (overpowered) in the roleplay, for example, poisoning someone without many steps, or immediately killing someone. An action that is forced upon someone else.

*The man lets out a slight smile, and relaxes his face.*
"I also came here for that purpose years ago," the man says after looking into his thoughts.  "I am lucky that I came here, and I am lucky that I have become this successful, I have made a name for myself in this city."

*Ashton listens very curiously, as he too has the same goals.*
"My parents have asked me to find a place in society and get a job, do you have any recommendations on where I may work, I am willing to do anything-"
 

"Of course, what is your name."

"Ashton.  Ashton Baine."

"Thanks, I have connections in the city and will inform them of your desire to work! But in the meantime, if you need something to do, come to this address for an adventure."
*The man hands Ashton a paper with an address written on it.*
*The man runs away, and leaves Ashton standing in the middle of the bazaar.*
*Ashton then goes on his first adventure, finding the address of the location in the massive city*
