You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"I used to serve as a soldier in a far away place, but now I aim to settle here in this region, away from my past life. in search of a newerer one, free from the horrors of battle" Hed pause, briefly glancing down before resuming his speech "Sadly, my parents, kind hearted souls, met unfortunate ends, my mother fell ill when I was young. which led me to join the army, though my skills were just average. Eventually discharged, I became a thief but after a few missions of which i gather a measly amount of gold i bought my way here now wander seeking a new path. "
