Wyr3xx

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Izek glances around as he steps inside, raising himself to his normal, decently tall stature. His hidden eyes gaze around the small interior of the tent before glancing at the hag whomst voice rattled through his ears. Without saying much the male took his seat, sinking lightly into the cushion in which he was seated upon before letting the eerie silence fill the tent, until a deep breath escaped his lips, shown by a small cloud of steam,  as his hot breath met the cold air, soon to be followed by his voice. however from the hags point of view the little cloud escaped the eternal darkness his hood gave, his face was hidden afterall, as with the rest of his body, "Where to begin...", he said with a slow, yet rather calm voice, as if he felt no need to be on guard around the old woman. "Growing up was hard, i suppose..", he started, "At first i lived a decent life, with parents whomst did their best to care for me, as any other parent would for their child. As for matter of fact i was, still am, an only child.. I guess that made life a little easier". He stopped, taking a soft breath before continuing, "Everything started going sideways when my father decided to take a risky job, i was never told what it was about.. only that it would result in a large income in which would lead us to survive the upcoming winter, or so i thought.", his hidden eyes stared at the hag, as if he was nothing more than a lifeless statue, no movement at all. "To sum my background up.. My fathers job resulted in our house being burned down due to him not paying what he owed, sure.. he was only trying to keep me and my mother fed but.. it cost him his own, and my mothers life.. Somehow i made it out alive, scared.. in shock, and most of all, at the brink of tears.. i know what this meant, i knew they were gone now.. And i was all alone. throughout my time growing up i tried fitting in as an only child with no parents, noone really wanted to be my friend and the groups i managed to hang with all ended up resenting me for something little.. Since then i roll alone.. i have up until this point and will most likely continue doing so.. Trusting people has never brought me luck.. i guess i'm simply scared of being left out again, being left alone.. so choosing to be alone is my way to process and handle it all.. But at least it's taught me things.. such as being quick and slick to avoid people.. how to defend myself from those who wish to hurt me, and more..".
