You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Y...You've been expecting me?" Nahdar studders. Slowly Nahdar walks up to the cushion, trying to not meet the old hags gaze directly. "How did you know i would come here?" Nahdar asks puzzled. He sits down on the cushion. The old hag remains silent. She just looks at him, waiting for him to tell his lifes story.
"W...well" Nahdar begins awkwardly. "My life before this point is that of a normal kid."
"My parents loved me and my brothers where hard working men in our village" Nahdar falls silent for a second. "Everything seemed fine... untill the sickness came..." Tears now begin to well up im his eyes. "One by one they all just..."
He says with a trembling voice. He waits for a few seconds, staring into seemingly nothing. He wipes the tears and says: "After that, a local Lord took me in. I was his squire for a time, learning to be usefull, to fight.." "But one day i just had enough of that life" He now looks up at the old hag with more confidence. "Grabbed wjat little i owned and just... ran" "Now im here" He looks back down at his feet. "Ive done things im not proud of... but i had to, to survive" He stands up. "But thats all in the past now" He says confidently. "Ive come to these lands to start over, a clean slate."
The old hag smiles, showing her crooked teeth. "Well... lets get you started then... Nahdar"
