    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information from outside the game to determine your character's actions. For example, if your friend on discord says they are being attacked, you cannot just go help them because your character doesn't have that information.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when your character uses unfair, unrealistic, or god-like actions such as instantly killing a player.

Emrakul had arrived in the Grand Trading city only to vomit. Stumbling across the large wooden docks he hears a man call out to him saying, "Welcome! What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? WealthA? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?" Emrakul wishes to answer the well-dressed man but instead lands on his ands and knees, back to vomiting. Finally, he stood up, wiped the vomit off his face, and spat at the ocean with the anger of a thousand dragons. He turned around to the man, face red, and answered his question with a quick response, "Money" and stormed into the bazaar in a fury of embarrassment.
