    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: by being mindful of what my character is capable of, and what are reasonable skills for them to have.
    Also not 'taking over' other's characters by saying what they are doing.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: for example if faction A captures a spy from faction B, and imprisons them so they can´t report back. But if the spy can just hop on discord and tell it all to faction B anyway, then it all makes it pointless and frustrating.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh, Im just passing through the town" she looks to the entrace of the tent, seemingly to see if anyones listening in.

 

then she comes closer to the hag and asks in an uncertain tone "Madame Fortune-teller, im here to ask for my fortune,

 

what are my chances of becoming a knight?"

 

Seeing that hag isnt answering, she continues. 

 

"You see, i come from a family of simple soldiers, but i don´t want a such a life, just waiting for the next war, or when the boar gets out of control enough to call in people capable of holding a sword." 

 

 

 

She says this in an annoyed voice and frowns as if remembering a particularly frustrating memory. 

 

 

 

" I have left my home at the age of 17 and traveled in pursuit of skills beneficial to my goal like etiquette, hunting and swordsmanship, all in pursuit of becoming something more." 

 

" 

 

She then fixes the hag with a determined gaze. 

 

" So, madame fortune-teller, what's your verdict?"
