    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: To avoid powergaming during roleplay it is best that you know the servers rules and what is and what not is considered powergaming. As defined below this prompt, "powergaming is when a player does something unrealistic, unfair, or godly actions. This could be forcing emotes on characters other people play, or trying to have your character perform unfair or impossible feats" The most obvious way to avoid this is to well not do it. It is highly recommended to stay true to your character and the lore along it. When roleplaying with others make sure you aren't performing any of these god like actions towards someone else. Overall the best way to avoid all of this is to just stay true to your character, keep yourself updated with the rules of the server and what powergaming is. That way you can have an enjoyable roleplay experience with others by having a great time with the community.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: "Metagaming as defined under this prompt is when your character shares or acts on information they should not know." Which basically means you know information out of character (aka OOC) and bringing it into-character (aka ICLY) and which can disrupt the fair roleplay. This is also a huge rule that should not be broken because if you do break it then consequences can occur. The best way to keep yourself from metagaming is to not bring out of character information into your in character on the server. If you want to learn something in character then go through that process in character not taking it from out of character. Overall its just unfair to the community base and who you're roleplaying with.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Elrond would glance at the old hag before greeting her with a nod. The male would walk over and take a seat hearing the woman's question. "You were expecting me, you say?" Elrond would let out a chuckle as he kept his posture straight. His voice was calm yet strong resembling confidence and pride. "My story. . . is just beginning. I come to seek answers." His eyes kept contact with the woman. The tone of his voice remained the same. "Answers to these questions that have kept me in a void for far too long. Questions about destiny, the purpose of being in this world, the arts of magic. .." Did Elrond get the hags attention now? A long moment of silence fell between him and the woman. Now his eyes scanning the tent and the dim lanterns. Now he wonders if this hag waits for new comers and learn about them. Soon his gaze shifted back to the hag. "I seek guidance. Guidance that will illuminate the path I must take and overcome the shadows that block my way." Shortly after his response, Elrond would get up as he stretched his legs. The hag was a mystery figure to him. He couldn't give too much information out to one he didn't even know much himself. His tall slender body would face the hag perhaps even towering over her. "My name is Elrond. Elrond Enquinal. Remember the name, hag." And with that Elrond's body swiftly turned as he made his exit through the tattered tent. The smell of the rotted wood and wet moss would fill his nostrils after taking a deep breathe. The elf couldn't take a long rest. He must continue on and move forward until he finds his destiny. His purpose in this world.
